Health Reform and Radiology

Dr. Tim Myers believes the effect healthcare reform has had on radiologists has been confusing. He says guidelines have only focused on decreasing costs and not on patient care. Attempts to change the process and change medical care have been misguided. While Dr. Myers believes part of the blame lies with those making the changes, he also thinks radiologists haven't been involved enough. He wants radiologists to be aggressive and let the government and payers know they stand.
