I don't understand your fear of slimes...they're generally pretty rare and only spawn on certain predetermined chunks at the bottom 40 blocks of the world. In my world I've only ever had evidence of 2 baby slimes spawning...one jumped off a cliff and died as all I found was a slime ball...and the other I actually saw jump off a cliff into lava so no loot :(

@Camaroon13 It was actually pretty late when I recorded this, so anything within a poorly lit area could scare me and I was also exaggerating it for comedic effect.
