Nice video - thinking about getting one. The kids are as gentle as your chickens!

The chicken that is next to you is absolutely adorable.

my rooster died last summer at 12, of old age. after he died we hatched the last batch of his eggs and got us a new rooster, so I don't consider 6 old. BTY just got my door, hope to have it installed asap.

what if you print the instructions onto the template would be cheaper and people would be less likely to mess thing up thinking its scrap. Just an idea might not be worth it at all but it makes seance to me.

I love it, great Idea, I hope you sell a bunch of them... for those who don't have electricity to the Coop I would use a 12 volt motorcycle battery and use a small 12 volt to 110volt inverter and a cheap solar charger and you good for at least 12 to 18 months...

@bradensfriend - Those would be buff orpingtons, one of the best chickens to own.

@MrCrasychicken It just doesn't happen. It closes very slowly and has very little weight to it. The chickens hear it and get out of the way...
