Acela's at Old Saybrook

PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!!

I took a trip out to Old Saybrook today with some guys and went railfanning. Caught loads of trains with awesome engineers. Almost every acela gave us horn. And after I got back to Westerly, I caught a Southbound regional with an engineer who was lovin the horn. It was awesome!!! AEM7 944. Awesome K5LA

Also, in the shot of 2171, which is just after the video that looks like it was cut short and has 2 blasts of horn past the camera, you can hear a clicking noise, well, thats me taking 40 pictures of the train. lol.

Also, in the last 2 videos, please be understanding that i did not use a tripod, my tripod is junk becuase i lost the mount for my other one, so now I have a wobbly one. Thank you.

@AmtrakFanNEC927 actually i saw the diagram in trains magazine, and from Old Saybrook to New Haven southbound, its between 115 and 125 and northbound is 110 to 115

@MrZkr123 Its not saybrook, you are thinking of track between Clinton, CT & Guilford, CT

@romanstransitpage its simply a design feature crossings have nothing to do with it.

@logo47 Strobe Lights, the AEM-7s have strobe lights because of grade crossings in Connecticut.

Eurostar has been above 200MPH here in the UK so its not 140MPH on High speed one the normal top speed is 186MPH
