Glee's Cory Monteith To Play Selena's BF In Monte Carlo

Welcome back to the show. Dana Ward here at ClevverTV, and we just got word that two more stars have signed-on to the upcoming Monte Carlo movie. Glee's Cory Monteith and Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy got added to the cast list already made up of Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Andie MacDowell and a producing Nicole Kidman. Monte Carlo is based on the young-adult book Headhunters where Gomez' character gets mistaken for a socialite which somehow causes her best friend and stepsister flying to Europe for a charity auction and a big mystery-adventure unravels from there. Meester and Cassidy play the friends and Monteith is the football-playing boyfriend who also winds up in Monte Carlo.

Cory's character, Owen, is going to play Grace's dad in Monte Carlo: the TV show on the Johnstown Channel. Emma is going to be the mom, and Meg is going to be the talented older sister. The TV show, "Monte Carlo" is going to center on a family with talent. Owen used to play the cello, Emma used to play the tuba, Meg used to play the violin, and Grace wants to take up guitar skills and sing. It's going to be pretty hard for Selena Gomez to switch from playing the flute on Wizards to the guitar.
