A drum cover of I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles. Video footage of the performance on the Ed Sullivan Show which I watched as it happened on a Sunday evening back in Feb 9, 1964.

Triggering that smacky Ludwig Black or Blue Oyster Pearl kit from Addictive Drums.

  • i wonder why the drummers back then use to like swipe the high hat, like ringo star for example

  • @StillComedy I've only seen Ringo do it. Those sweeping strokes on the hat create a flowing motion feel in time with the groove and is possibly a more economic way to execute the ride pattern than the straight up and down strokes. It may be a better stroke technique ergonomically, easier on the wrists, perhaps.

  • u are a little god!!!!!!! :D amazing!!!!!!

  • @Demoniumist Thanks

  • Such a great cover, keep it up!
