How to make Sofrito

In this video tutorial I show you how I make my sofrito. Sofrito is a puree of vegetables and herbs that is often used as the base in many latin american dishes. There are tons of ways to make it. I am just sharing one recipe with you. I also show you how to store the sofrito so you too can cook up dinner quickly.

Nice job but instead of freezing the sofrito like that in the freezer bags, freeze it in ice cube containers..alot easier to use when cooking

@sejce5 That's a great suggestion! If you have the space for the ice cube trays that would be good. For me, I find that lying the ziplock baggies flat in my freezer allows me to fit a lot more baggies than I could ice cube trays. We have a small freezer so I gotta make the most out of the space it does have.
