Thank you so much for posting this, Buried3030. My dad always played (rhythm guitar) and covered this song in his bands and he sounded just like WJ back in the day. I grew up listening to this song. All the parties, gigs and jam sessions until dad was about 65ish, and this kind of music from the time I was just a tot. Mom and Dad both passed in the first decade of 2K, but listening to this song again brings me a little closer to them again. Long live Mom, Dad, and Waylon. Triple THANKS!

for me this is Waylon at his musical best.... only a pity at this time in his career his record company at the time was ripping him off. FUCKERS..... Glad he got a better deal later on... but for me it was no wonder he turned outlaw.... he was just plain neglected at this time finance wise.

@cdgarcia13 yes, I am 100% sure that is Ralph Mooney, and what appears to be a young Ritchie Albright on drums
"But she never complains of the bad times
Or the bad things he's done, lord
She just talks about the good times they've had
And all the good times to come"
If you have a woman who has loved you like that, then you are truly blessed....
I have been so blessed and I thank God for her every day for these 39 years!
