Squawk-a-doodle demonstration. The SQD is a speaker "synth"; using a 9 volt battery to emit sounds via the speaker in the form of beeps, bloops, and gorgeous feedback tones!

  • Hooking a + to a - terminal is what's electricity is all about. Usually there's a bit more between the terminals than just a speaker, but that won't make much difference.

    I am afraid of mine, though, haha... it's basically just the two terminals being connected together with a speaker in between, and it's produces sound via vibration?

    because that's how mine works, but the battery terminals being hooked together means the battery gets warm, and I fear EXPLOSIONS...
