Assalamu alaikum, (Part 3) An intriguing talk by Myriam Cerrah about her conversion to islam. Not only did she cover women in Islam but also reminded us about men in Islam. The video is in 6 Parts (Last two parts are Q&A - worth watching). Jazakom Allah khier (Behalf of Reading Isoc).

  • incredible, she really WANTS to believe that even the lack of change / renewal / reform in islam is due to colonialism. It is never the fault of islam itself is it, it is never in the original sources of islam... because islam must be perfect. How can you explain the ahadith that very straightforwardly state that a woman has to stay inside as much as possible, only allowed to go outside for necessary reasons, and even then having to ask her husband? Dream on!

  • I didn't quite hear what book she just mentioned?
