@ chirunthruit . why will you not allow me to comment on wing chun tsun tzun, ving tsun?i really find that quite puerile on your behalf?we are all trying to learn!you blocked 3 of my comments?none negative, merely informative.

I have to agree with you Gudster, (sorry Holygroove2) his opponent constistantly fails to form tan sau, Wu sau and bong sau correctly (see 1:15 onwards for a good example, grados is clearly showing up a gap in the guys defence) Not to say that the Grados isnt skilled, just the other guy isnt.

can anybody describe some of the characteristics of augustine fong's lineage?
-
Fun to watch.
Must be Augustine Fong's lineage...?

His opponent "appears" that way to you b/c Grados is in complete control. He does that with everyone man... he really is that good. Good teachers control/guide you in the right way so that no harm comes to them OR you! The videos only show part of what he can do. Got to experience.

I generally like Grados stuff, but here his opponent appears somewhat novice.... constantly backing-off & failing to attempt any kind of controlling contact 'wedge' with his forearms.

what do you have to post? Let's see it.

This dude needs to get some advice form leung ting about chi sao, he's lack in the understand of, sticking, give into force etc.
How is he not sticking? Leung Ting does Ving Tsun, not Wing Chun - Tings approach is very different. Do you see how soft and relaxed Grados is? You can chi sao with Grados, see what he's about to do to you, and not stop him from coming in. He teaches the system in a refreshing way, and he doesn't need advice from leung ting about anything (no disrespect intended). Check out the rest of his videos, and you'll see. Better yet, come to classes and experience if you can.

Everything he does is consistantly excelent... maybe that's why they call him Sifu....hmmm... The only thing that's changed is his haircut. :)
He has a way of demonstrating... you feel only part of the impact, but you KNOW that you'd be down in seconds if he were to come after you for real. That is mastery and effective comunication - AKA martial art. I'm glad I'm studying with him and his students.
