Its amazing what you can do with weights, a drill, and duck tape. I decided to improvise one of my KBs to see what pressing a 70kg would be like, the answer, very hard, (you'll note the crazy jib pulling). This was a dumb idea but i thought id post it anyway. Weighed it too for the various BS callers out there

  • Dude any tips on super heavy cleans ?

  • @gareththomasnz to save energy i try not to let the bell dead hang so once i pick it up im dragging it back with the same motion, this is where technique goes out the window cos youre only supposed to generate the swing with the legs but im ripping that thing up with the arm from the moment i complete the back swing. the annoying part is getting used to racking without it falling forward, look up ivan denisov with the 60kg youll see he has a flawless lean back method of racking its really good.

  • A chick reference, how novel.

  • Very strong! Great press. Can't wait to see some clips with that thing going up even easier, too (just b/c it'll look cool).

  • Working on it mate, thanks. The next vid i'll prolly have a slightly better looking bell cos im gonna have the extra lead weight melted and cast around the bell. A more well rounded weight should be a hell of a lot more manouverable
