Try reading the article before you make misinformed comments. The Ady Gil was focused on the Nishin Maru, not the Shonan Maru No2. The Shonan Maru No2 came from behind. I'm sick of rednecks commenting without actually knowing were they are commenting on...

Japanese Security ship the ShonanMaru#2 has deliberately rammed and critically damaged the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society stealth trimaran 'Ady Gil'. 8 feet of the AG's bow was sheared off in the Japanese attack, 6 crew members rescued by sscs. Japan offered no assistance.

The ShonanMaru#2 approached the Ady Gil at around 20 knots while executing a slow starboard turn with water cannon blazing and LRAD acoustic weapons activated and ripped trough the bow of the Sea Shepherd's conservation vessel in an unprovoked attack on civilian volunteers in the Australian Antarctic Zone. One crew member was injured and all 6 were recovered to the SSCS new vessel the Bob Barker .

  • The crew of the Ady Gil got what they deserved and got off easy. You don't take a carbon fiber speed boat nose to nose with hundred ton whaling ships. You're likely to loose you're life.

    If one of them had died, there may have been more of an investigation but even then the Japanese would have been cleared. Given the actions they were taking, anything up to and including opening fire on the ship would have been justified. Maritime law is pretty clear on how hostile actions can be repelled.

  • @AngryWhiteboy88 And the Jappanese got what they deserved for not stepping up against whaling and eating fish/sushi.

    You like to hunt fish? Gues what, last time I heard from Japan fish was Hunting them! /-]

  • @Spuknapf2 its illegal to kill people for research

  • The Sea Shepherds are ECO-WARRIORS, not eco-terrorists!

    They're not eco-terrorists if they're the ones trying to assist in the ecology's preservation.

    It's like having two people: one is burning trees, the other is trying to put the fires out.

    Which is the "eco-terrorist"?

  • nice title--->Japanese Eco-Terrorist
