Fast Sugar Bats was born in Catania in 2008 by Ciccio (keyboards) and Davide (drums). They had played pop-punk since 2005, making this kind of music, the soundtrack of their carefree lives. After a while, Seby (vocals), called Seby the Breaker or Carefree Seby, joined the band. He had the right kind of voice that the group needed, so they began to play together and arranged some songs, but were still looking for a guitarist. Then comes Fabio (guitar) who has no pop-punk experience and comes from emo/screamo bands (see his hair) but he was very excited to play in this new project and he wrote most of the band's best songs. At the end, Gigi (bass) joined the band and finally ,they started to play at live shows. Fast Sugar Bats gained much popularity at the shows, so they decided to record some songs professionally. In the middle of 2009, they released "Welcome to the party" EP, the quality of the sound was better than they had expected, thanks to Andrea (With Sky Under).
