So, have just started the fermentation of my first ever home brew Lager. Left it over night and checked it first thing. A little water happened to escape from the airlock, not sure why that was? But it seems ok now. I will keep an eye on it...

  • Mine has a different reaction, the beer went up the air lock and its overflowing...is it ok that way?

  • @rashric Sorry for the delay. Sounds like an active fermentation process. If the fermentation is making a mess you should get a blow off tube to rid of the excess. It's perfectly OK though. :)
