being physical while playing can often times be a distraction to the music that is trying to come out. Jesse is thinking about what he's playing,not showboating with unnecessary body movement.
The audience seems unmoved by his beautiful playing after the sax solo!

I think the music is going on inside, some musicians have no need to show their motivation physically, it´s all there in the music for everyone to hear.
