Ozamiz is the home of the historical landmark Fort Cotta and the Cotta Shrine, an old Spanish fort built between 1755 & 1756. These cities are located in the provinces of Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga Del Norte, on the southernmost Philippines island of Mindanao. Also included are the areas of Jimenez, Philippines and Sinacaban, Philippines (Home of the Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park, also known as MOAP).
