I think this is a good ad, because it says "our auto-technique has been soooo improved, that you can take mindless great pictures".
The people won't think that such cameras replace professional photographers, they just think that they are getting a camera like their old film point and shoot cameras, which worked well. The digital ones are so often so bad, overexposured and slow as hell.
With this ad, the people get their hope back.
Everybody knows that a good photo is taken by a good photogr

Although I see the whit in this commercial; it can be pretty offensive to working photographers. I think they approached it the wrong way, but whatever. I know a lot of people that take offense to it as well myself.

nice commercial..... the statement is wrong and misleading though. It is not possible to see the technical quality of the camera from this commercial but is possible to see that the composition is boring and/or wrong. No grat camera can take a great photo.

Not impressed!! As I still shoot film I find this the stereotypical mindset these days of people with essentially point and shoot compact digital cameras think they are Ansel Adams!

Great photographers make great photos. A nice camera helps but is not essential.

Panasonic, please confirm that the images shown are not taken with a DSLR but with a Lumix as shown in the Video.
I can't believe that, so I want to add: Don't tell people you can take pictures with a P&C camera which look as good as pictures taken with a DSLR when you can't even give real examples, just simulated images.
