@ellehowey You are ignorant. These qouta systems have been approved by people within the industry who are making profit form the over fishing. The real sustainable qouta's are much less then the money based ones you operate under. So please dont pretend you are fishing sustainably, becoz even you yourself know the truth.

You can watch a biased documentary or read a leaflet and become an expert. Alaska's fisheries are sustainable. They will continue to be the most healthy fisheries on the planet. I have taken part in these fishries, seen the science behind it all, and continue to enjoy record returns. So please, educate yourself before you wantonly blab about my way of life.
