His art is simple really, he first cuts out a lino print of the pic (or whatever material he's using) and then he makes that print into a stencil. Very simple concept, yet its a great! :)

He cuts the white out. and then sprays on dark surfaces.

Actually, I've seen that many of his most complex stencils are one layers. He paints the background directly on the wall and then does a layer of white or whatever the highlight color is. He does have multilayers, but not the bulk of his work. His stencils look very fragile but he uses sturdy paper.
