Thank You John for your valuable tip. Fair play should be the rule I suggest contacting your representative and asking that person to assist with a passage of a bill. By the way Hopkinton,RI has just opened it's own municipal court and are ticketing people 5-10 over mph. Anything over that has to go to district court. The Bounty Hunter Corrupt Chief John Scuncio promised the council he'd bring in $55,000 yrly and court will cost $28,000. He also has the 1st truck detail in the state . Watch out!

Thank You Joe  for providing these valuable points. Sadly our dollar is extremely weak to travel abroad is a true wake up call when we are told it's worth maybe fifty cents. Corruption is so rampant the powerful are ruining our very lives and generations to come. Please everyone contact all congress and senate and local politicians let them know how you feel. Bottom dollar if they don't act on our behalf they can get into the unemployment line and see if they can survive. Marilyn Sheldon Justice

Sorry, John. The traffic courts and traffic COPs in Rhode Island are very corrupt. (They are not as corrupt as the Federal Reserve System, but nonetheless, they are indeed quite corrupt.) Don't take it personally. On a regular basis, many Rhode Islanders have money extorted from them through this system. The best way to handle this is to see if anyone you know has any connections in the system. I still give you credit though for going to court. More people should do that.
