The last one just cracks me up.
-
I just watched this in science class!
-
wth that last one was big !!
-
yeah like....6 or 7

It doesnt matter anyway there are only a few molecules in the world anyway cos its such an unstable element
-
Thats wrong.
You cant use Francium because you simply can't get that much Francium to throw it in there because it reacts with the air
-
its hard to find some too
-
The only reason why Francium wasn't used was because they can hardly get a gram of it in time. The half life of Francium is very short, its chemical properties are no different then that of Cesium, you won't expect something big. Francium is radioactive and it's time of decay is very short.
"What do you mean by Alkali real ?, of course its real, do you think sodium and potassium is soo fake that no one knows about it, seriously, we see it in school labs , we see them in lakes so what makes you think that we don't see them on youtube ?, by the way your not a chemist so don't show off
cesiummetal 4 years ago
REAL because alot of people belives that the braniac version is real. I'm not a chemist, correct. but I'm being educated as chemistry ingenier, And what i can see from all your stupid and incorrect comments I know ALOT MORE than you, especially about cesium, mr. "Cesiummetal"

Teaching videos arent ALWAYS 100% accurate. my own chemistry teacher told me this was fake

this one is ! it is 100% real.. nomatter what YOUR teacher says.. this is from an actual chemistry teaching video. I have the movie, and can see each pivture of the explosion, and the flame color is light blue in a split second.. and that flamecolor can ONLY CESIUM produce.... sorry... so why do you want to think this is fake ? do you just want to be critical? there is NOTHING in that clip that indicates it's fake. It's a shame that cesium has not been tested more..

Caesium may be denser than water, but the reaction produces Hydrogen which keeps it afloat
Davidcatcat 4 years ago
No... ;) the reaction happens so fast that there is no time for uplift! why don't you just see what happens in the clip? it's real... no trick's there.. i have 2 x 10 gram cesium ampules.. maybe i should test this someday.. but... this movie is from a teaching video.. so you can be sure it's not fake.
