amazing.. i can run qmidi and it plays, but it doesn't record on goattracker.. Im using an edirol pcr m80 (which works if i press the keys).. where i fail??? help! :)

Cool concept. Lousy result. It is allways better to record the music directly into the tracker via the keyboard, instead of, as you did, play the melody via MIDI to the tracker. No offence intended. I've been producing music since the early 90's in different trackers.
