Jack Johnson "To The Sea" riff lesson

Never taught guitar so sorry if the lesson sucks, LOL!

I'm playing a 58 VOS Les Paul, through a Holy Grail reverb on spring set at about 10%, through a Fender 57 Deluxe Tweed in case anyone is wondering.

@UniversalOrlando2448 On the cover vid I'm just playing my guitar into a Fender 57 Deluxe turned up to get a little tube breakup. That's it, just guitar into amp with no effects. If you have an overdrive pedal that might work. You just need a little dirt.

what are the effects you used on your amp so I can reference?
