歌曲原作兼原唱為Slim Willet (Winston L. Moore)； 屬於美國鄉村類別，於1952年推出。曾灌錄過此曲子，不論美國、還是英國的歌手，都不勝枚舉。至於流行版本則非 Perry Como 莫屬了。

於五十年代，巫語版 《Hore-hore》 是由 R. Azmi 唱紅的，後於七十年代中期，大馬已故紅星 Sudirman，選灌了相同的曲子，也紅遍印尼、馬新地區，還記得大街小巷，到處可聽到。
