treating people as "chavs" (between rats and garbage) is not going to make them less violent. All you people do is defending a corrupt, individualistic society that rewards rich people by stomping out those of the poor and middle classes that actually do believe in peaceful change. just because criminal elements got involved in the revolts in August does not mean that rebelling against coercive governments is not recommendable. Labelling people as criminals results in them behaving as such.

Overall I found this film pretty enjoyable but it was just so hard to relate to the main characters. I think the problem is that the first time we meet them they're mugging a nurse on her way home from work like a bunch of cowards, after that it's really hard to ever sympathize with them.

"suspiciously?!" if you are aware of the previous work of Adam and Joe you will recognise that the film was highly anticipated by many and clearly upon viewing the film those people wanted to comment favourably, it is after all a good film (critically and commercially). The argument that Joe hasn't lived on a council estate is redundant as many films seek to depict a potentially contentious subject, are you suggesting that a director must have lived a situation in order to depict it?

It was a well made film because i hate the way kids in the uk talk and i sat through the entire film. Also, i started off hating the kids and by the end of the movie i kinda liked them

Attack the block is quite simply the most fun film I have seen in years. Every character is engaging and the plot is both comical and exciting. Moreover, whilst it's social politics are obviously quite shallow , at least it attempted to convey a message
