The Lady Of Rage's "Afro Puffs'" first appeared on the 1994 soundtrack "Above the Rim." The single "Afro Puffs' established Rage as a solidified lyricists and artists with a chart hitting single as her fellow Dogg Pound affiliates had done previously. The video remix version sports a new bassline tailored by Dr. Dre & Daz .In 1997 The Lady Of Rage released her only official album to date "Necessary Roughness" on Death Row Records. The Lady of Rage later pursued an semi-acting career in the late 90's. Rage was discovered by Dr. Dre when a demo of her work was handed to him while he was building Death Row Records.
