Track 2.

Pale Sketches (2007):

The first release from the Avalanche Store in almost 7 years. Limited to 2,000 copies on CD, 1,200 on vinyl. The first 400 of the latter come on white vinyl. This is material spanning several post-Godflesh years that was not used on other Jesu releases.

Lyrics:
(1:20)
please can i go now (cuz*) you don't see me
that i'm not able here to breathe
two steps forward, three steps back
i can't compensate for what i lack
can I go now?
can I go now?

[2:25]
please can i go now cuz you don't see me
that i'm not able here to breathe
two steps forward, three steps back
i can't compensate for what i lack
can I go now?
can I go now?

(4:00)
Can I go now?
(repeats w/ echoes)

(repeat 2nd verse only)

  • there will always be someone somewhere playing something, or doing something that someone says no one else is doing. something like the title of jesu's other song called plans that fade. shit happens. etc.

  • @rat682 your statement rings true...he's too unique and original to be compared to anyone

  • The only thing I can ever say every time I hear any of his music is "There is nothing like this anywhere." And thats all I can say.

  • Jesu is something greater than music

  • I've always labeled Jesu as post-metal anyhow.

  • @pigi6cajik No.

  • @wrestlemania4lyf You can't make shoegaze without a guitar w/ added tremolo bar. This album is a different set-out from Jesu's original content.

  • Always felt ripped off with Pale Sketches until it recently grew on me.

This, along with Supple Hope, is absolute magic
