Benny Andersson Band and the Orsa Fiddlers. Songs played in the clip:

1) 0:00 Scottish Schottis (from the album Ödra, 1997)
2) 2:42 Glasgow boogie (from the album BAO!, 2004)
3) 3:26 Cermonilåt (from the album Kalle Moraeus, 1991)
4) 4:30 Solskenslåten/Kullerullvisan (from the album Fiolen min - Svenska spelmanslåtar, 1990)
5) 6:29 Bodakóla (Ödra, 1997)

Orsa Spelmän's entry in the Swedish selection for the 2010 ESC was "Underbart". It didn't win Melodifestivalen but it is doing well in the charts, so far it's been 13 weeks on the Svensktoppen chart. Have a look/listen here:

  • Stor TV sändning, med mycket bra engelska översättning av en verkligt stora konstnär, såväl som naturligtvis är en del av Abba, alla stora konstnärer. Även jag svensk folkmusik akustisk stil samt synth. Jag har bara det senaste albumet av Benny Anderssons Orkester, "O Klang Och Jubeltid" och jag tycker ofta spelar "Story of a Heart". Jag önskar jag kunde se dem utföra levande, särskilt i den främre raden!

  • Drug addict!! ETTANS SNUS!!

  • Very interresting interview . Thanks for the translation .

Nice to see BA and a part of his group .

    Like the BAO

  • Some of the Glasgow Boogie looked as if it were filmed on Hampstead Heath last summer. I was there, and I have the photos I took. Tommy was wearing that shirt!

  • It must feel nice to perform togetter with Benny, but of course, these guys can also perform by themself. They are playing beautiful and traditional folkmusic from Sweden, very similar to Norwegian folkmusic.

  • What a great man-lives and breathes music! Thanks Elin-a bit of light on a dark day-Mum died a few hours ago after a fall :(
