New Blue OMO....Hungarisha zaidi ....but we danced to the music anyway!!!.
Nyasaye akulinde!
This was our favourite among the many fantastic Congolese songs in Dar es Salaam in 1964-5

I think this came out 1963-5 and people in Mwanza were crazy with this song. Actually there was Omo laundry soap.

Malala1974,
Thanks for the great job you are doing. I must say I am jealous, envious!!!! Congo has all of these, and Cameroon has no such anthology on the web!!!
Please help us put whatever Cameroonian oldies you can find (messi martin, aloa javis, etc) especially between 1950 and 1970.

Hello Alfredo,
I was a kid in primary school Ebubu, Tombel of the then SW Province - no, West Cameroon- of Cameroon. I lived this song live when it came out in 1968.
Even today I like playing the strings of that solo guitar there.
You say Camerooninas are good? Where is our own store of music like the RDC anthology that you have on here?
Great, great composition!! one of my nephews is named Kitoko - from this song!!

J'ai les larmes aux yeux quand j'ecoute cette chanson car elle me rappelle mon enfance lorsque ma mere jouait ce son de Rochereau et voila que aujourd'hui je suis tres loin de ma Mom cherie.
Je t'aime Momie ton fils Douguess depuis New York.
