  • the tea party is for the growing of individual rights and the shrinking of the intrusive government... the republicans that are disgruntled over mccain's loss are not true tea partiers. the establishment will be stunned by the results of this election and it will be evident in the house and senate races. local governments will be taken back and the elite elected before will try desperately to hold on to power, but their end is coming.

  • @T33man8r That depends on which faction of the Tea Party you're talking about. If you're talking about the disgruntled Republicans or 'Reagan Republicans' who deplore the fact that McCain lost in '08, you're wrong! Same goes with the 'heritage' conservatives who align themselves with the John birch Society and Pat Buchanan. Now if you mean the libertarian faction, that's another matter, and yes, he'd fit well with them.

  • @thespeez Or we're screwed? oh god.

  • @thespeez Yes because before the government stepped in Standard oil was welcoming competition...Ron Paul isn't going to do anything that hasn't been tried in this country 100-200 years ago. We don't need to get rid of regulation, we need effective regulations.

  • Don cordell for 2012 president.he will restore our America

  • "Captain Midnight"? Awesome, he has a porn-star name! :-D

  • @thespeez Free markets are an abstraction, they don't exist except in the mind of economists. The world is not a spreadsheet, dude. Power differences will always exist one must realise that perfection's not something the base world of trade will ever know. The rich in your country have so much power half your country doesn't even know if Climate Change is happening and dangerous! I don't know if Ron Paul is racist/homophobic so I'll delete that comment, may people suggest he is.

  • @SpearofDestiny0 This depends on which state you're in. If your state has 'closed' primaries, then you must register with that party in order to vote for the candidate that that candidate is a member of.

  • @bashful228 The 'influence and favor' that you speak of is what constitutes CORPORATE WELFARE! It has NOTHING to do with the free market whatsoever! This is why corporations must not be allowed to lobby the government to prevent competition! You call Paul a racist? That has got to be one of the most egregious, despicable and wrongful accusations made against him! Oh, and your cheap shots do nothing to boost your credibility!
