A quick & easy trick to secure your Fallkniven F1 in its zytel sheath, just in case you are roughing it out or bringing it on a mission. With the rubber band, you can now safely carry the knife handle-down (without worrying about it unsheathing itself in the event the nylon strap is not secured over the handle.) The sheath remedy is not pretty, but purely functional and purposeful.

  • Another bad think, the to rivets that hold the belt loop, scratch the blade...i covered them up with some thin leather.

  • If you are watching I suggest you stiffen the thing that goes up and down. It's too flexible. Good review, I will buy a leather sheath.

  • very bad lighting, hard to see anything

  • @nextexhale I agree the buckle strap isn't convenient sometimes. Most welcome :)

  • This is a good tip. I have an f1 with the same sheath and I'm not impressed with the retention of it. I feel like I have to use the strap in order to secure the knife but this is not always convenient. I like you simple solution.
