US companies face challenges in China

US Commerce Secretary Gary Locke told a meeting of the US China Business Council in Washington that "Recent events, specifically the well-publicized Google incident, have reminded us of the continued challenges faced by foreign and US companies operating in China". But the Chinese Government made it clear that it's not going to make any exceptions for foreign investors who operate in the country. So can we face a trade war between the two countries?

Saying that China's labor is cheaper is not a derrogatory statement toward China. Obviously its good for China because it forces us to want to buy from China, however. It is imperative that america stops buying EVERYTHING from China because we are getting crippled by it. Trump didn't bash china either, he said that he doesnt blame them, they are only taking advantage of americas dependency, China does need us to buy though however. We just want to be our own country again u see

@efast00 very long reply but yes, russia now has been advertising for its students to learn english since the russian federations is trying to be good ol pals with the US, kinda like Germany is with us now and Japan, everyone who used to hate the US is now our most important allies, Germany only real Europeans that lik us, Russia kinda has too, Japan loves us i dont know y..Britain same deal, but then theres china and others who we once where allies with but arnt cuz they're communist now or etc

The problem is how many Americans will really pick up a $10 item over the $2 item with similar quality from China?

If you are rich sure, but most aren't. There are a reason why Chinese products are so rampant here. Why do you go to Walmart? Try to live without buying any Chinese products and feel how hard it is. You have to flip the item back and forth only to see that they are from China
