Zbigniew Brzezinski on Al Jazeera

The Obama adminstration is under increasing pressure to impose a no-fly zone over Libya. But so far it's ruled out getting involved in any military action.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, a former National Security Adviser to the Carter administration, spoke to Al Jazeera.

He said that the US should play a more strategic role.

Brzezinski is, as always, articulate and intelligent. I do not hear anything in what he said that should cause these negative comments and dislikes. I only read one serious answer to what Brzezinski said here. That was the fellow who suggested that we should simply bring all our ships home. I too think that this may be the best option. 95% of the comments posted here are mindless chatter (implanted courtesy of....who knows who).
