ORPHANED LAND from Israel is probably the only band from this country ever able to build up a huge following among Muslims and Arabian people that communicate freely via the bands social networking pages. Where politicians have failed, a mere metal band daringly labeling its style Jewish Muslim Metal or Middle Eastern Progressive Metal has actually achieved the unthinkable and united Israeli and Arabian people despite any cultural, religious or political differences or conflicts!

So fed up with songs which always complain about individual pain. Pffffff....its becoming really monotonous. lyrics such as "SATANS ARE EGOCENTRIC PIGS!!! THEY'LL BURN ETERNALLY IN HELL!!! YET THEY'LL STILL LAUGH ABOUT IT CUZ THEY R TOO PROUD DAT THEY WERE MADE BETTER THAN ADAM, THINKING THEY ARE OF FIRE AND ADAM WAS MADE OF CLAY!!! LET SATANS ROT!!! WE DONT NEED TO ATTACK THEM, CUZ THEY ALREADY ATTACK AMONG THEMSELVES AND BOTH VICTIM AND AGGRESSOR LAUGH ABOUT IT!" Yea dats right. Am just saying

With Yemenite pronounciation, the schwa is pronounced "a" and cholam is pronounced like german or turkish ö... So it is Sa-Pa-Ri, technically-speaking.

I have so much respect for them. It just goes to show how simple music can bring people to forget about differences and just be human for once. There is no room for corrupt politicians and religious leaders anymore in this world, no room for hatred. There are small and simple solutions like this for so many big problems in the world. People just need to realize that.

That's so cool! I study musicology in Amsterdam and I'd love to read your paper when it's finished. Could you perhaps send it to me when it's finished, if it's not too much trouble?
