  • What camera you used to film this

  • @Agentjamaica Canon G10

  • @Agentjamaica - Canon G12

  • Hey nice video, I am going to be getting my PPL soon and afterwards I hope to make some lunch runs with friends. So my question is how to you get to the hard 8 after landing in Stephenville? Did you have to rent a car or something?

  • @ColdSHeep The restaurant is about .5 mile behind the field. When you land usually there are a couple of golf carts you can use, otherwise, just call them and they will come to the airport and pick you up. If you visit in the fall, it's a nice walk.

    Good luck with your training!

  • Awesome! I just got my private certificate and am about to start instrument and commercial. do you train out of addison? pretty cool that you got the midfield in the middle of the day. you request it?

  • Yea, I fly out of Addison. Approach is pretty good about getting you across at 3500'. It's the usual route for Stephenville. If it's too busy, they will vector you North between Denton and DFW and then get you on course. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers!

Hey dude awesome video!!! good clarity as well....

I used to fly out of Denton, flew d conventional C-172`s at that time..

recently flew one with G1000...awesome equipment although miss flying in DFW airspace!!!:-)

  • @Natureboyta Hey mate, I'm only 15. I joined air force cadets not long ago and went for my first cockpit flight ever, in the Cessna 172s G1000, and I must say: There is no better feeling than flying, I really hope I make it as a fighter pilot. Nice flying =]

  • I fly out of MccKinney and when I've tried to clear Class B on the way to the Hard 8 in Stepenville all I hear is "too busy". Next time I may request entry as "Piper NXXXXX Heavy".
