Le Café Des Orgues, Herzeele, frence- 92 toets mortier orgel

Op 24-02-08 ben ik met FP en Ron naar Frankrijk geweest om 3 Mortierorgels te bekijken en te beluisteren.
In het plaatsje "Herzeele" in de straat "Rue des Orgues"
"Le Café des Orgues" betekend
"Het café van de Orgels"

Dit 92 toets mortierorgel heeft 2 groote troms een bovenop het orgel en een op de normale plaats.
en 3 bekens, een die telkens doorslaat, en in forto, en een normaal met forto

These organs now have new key frames by Verbeeck. They do not play any better for these new parts. Why was the old parts taken? It is a little less the the original organ removed and makes them less of an antique. Old parts can be repaired and restored making the organ more valuable. What else will get taken from them?

The two lovely old Mortiers have now new key frames by Verbeeck. Its a pitty they do not keep them original.

Paid my first visit there three weekends ago. Was absolutley amazing. The people there are very friendly and the music is excellent, especially from this Mortier and the older 81 key instrument. Can't wait to go back!!!
