  • Who should star in the remake of this? I say Guy Pearce, Jude Law and Will Ferrell!

  • BEST MOVIE EVER

  • I love the way that The Thomas Edison company successfully uses the movie as a means of applying pressure on the government of their day to commence a wide range of free market reforms. The peaceful manner of the way in which the men are depicted working shows the pleasures that can arise from hard, honest and even low paying work. Further to this, the men are shown without any unions filing for their rights nearby and thence purveys the idea that unions are superfluous to the labour industry.
