A little taste of Caress of Steel on a lazy Sunday afternoon in June. I built this uke (#7) back in January 2008. It's mahogany and purple heart with an undersaddle pickup. I'm playing it through the clean side of a tiny Dean Markley G-T 1000. Thanks once again to Mother Nature for the birds & other FX!

  • I have tinkered around with Xanadu. If I can make all the parts work on the uke then I'll work it up and post it. But some of the parts just don't work well on the uke. We'll see how it goes. I'm still experimenting with it. I do have more Rush in the oven, but it's not done yet.

  • Ukes have their own form of tuning. Most tune to C or D. This uke is tuned to C, bottom to top A E C G with the G string tuned higher than the C string.

  • My favorite rush song makes me happy and sad.I was wondering if you were going to play the little bass part at 1:21 HAHA and you busted out the lead at the end.Your one cool old dude!

  • Sell this on Itunes so I can crank it driving thru the city. Another great performance!
