This was a match between mod developers from hl2ctf ( http://hl2ctf.com ), and members of the Valve Team. About halfway through the match, Valve busted out the hax, and the results are quite hillarious.

@Amaroqdricaldari That is about the exact opposite of what happened. To prevent the hl2ctf dev team from cheating, Valve asked that they host the match and have access to the game's source code. The dev team agreed, the valve team decided to have some fun in the second match and created what you see happening here. Giving themselves things like unlimited rapid fire rockets and godmode, or becoming a player controlled energy ball destroying everything, and obviously boosting their score.

@asteroidrules It is because the creator of the mod (who was also hosting the match) accidentally handed the code over to Valve. Since they knew the map really well, and since they know the code for HL2DM and now the code for that version of HL2CTF, they instantly became really good at it.
