  • Nice theory, but I disagree: Writing Pros/Cons and over analyzing can cause more stress for some (esp those googling this vid). I wish I'd just sat still for 30 minutes and realized what made me feel good/feel bad before my decision. "Go with your gut" sounds cliche, but it's never the wrong choice: I hope someone who needs to make a decision realizes that. My mistake was thinking about it too much and not going with my gut. Please: go with what feels good to you at the time. You can't go wrong.

  • @andersonenvy Balance between gut and rational thought is ideal. It's not a black or white issue.

  • Hmmm... This seems like a contradiction: Early in the video you comment about taking time to let the choices ferment, rather than making a rash, quick decision. At the end you of the video you comment that "any decision is better than no decision" and suggest that procrastination should be avoided. I'd say that both positions are correct. I'd say take your time, but then DO something... whatever you feel is best, even if it doesn't work out perfectly. We learn and grow from taking action.

  • Agreed! Thank you for commenting.

  • Hi Steve. In your last couple of videos the sound has been out of sync.

  • Thanks for the heads up.

  • This is a top quality video and the effort really shows!!!

  • hey thanks alot did help.

  • PS: Here's another, sometimes useful decision-making trick: Flip a coin. Heads, decides one way; Tails decides the opposite way.

Now here's the trick: Think and feel about the resulting decision. If you don't like the way the coin lands, then you know you shouldn't do it. If you DO like the way the coin lands, then do it.

  • the US? There are no US anymore there is only Nazi Germany at the place where once was the USA

  • that's great advice to not seek advice from people who have ulterior motives. Sometimes some people may seem to be helpful, but over time they might try to steer people in a direction that might not be the best decision.
