  • hated it.

  • Oh? Why? Not a big Shakespeare fan in general? Or just not keen on this version of the scene?

  • ...and I will wave a flag for Lalla Wards Ophelia.....

  • Uno de los grandes Hamlets, para mi punto de vista, es el Derek Jacobi. Adoro esta versión y esta interpretación.

  • @causedhope I'm pretty sure that experience sort of does, which was my point. Raw-talent amounts to little without skill. Skill is something you acquire over time with experience.

  • @LegoDaleks I'm pretty sure talent doesn't depend on age.

  • @causedhope In my comment I clearly said that Lalla Ward was 29 during this you small doofus. Actors need a certain amount of experience to do Shakespeare properly. 29 should be the youngest.

Why go all immature on my ass? I should drown myself just because I don't agree that a 29 year old Lalla Ward is an old woman?

  • @LegoDaleks Ophelia wasn't 29 you big doofus. The actress could have been younger, I don't understand why you're arguing with me when it was just MY OPINION that the actress should have been younger. Holy eff, get a life, cry me a river, and go drown yourself in it.

  • @causedhope Lalla was 29 when she did this, I think. How much younger does an actress need to be?

  • @LegoDaleks ??? Ophelia was young, therefore, the actor should be young. I don't care if they "teenagers" haven't have enough experience, I'm just saying, it would be cool to see someone younger.

  • @causedhope You've been watching too much modern TV with all it's teenage casts. Teenagers haven't enough experience to do Hamlet.

  • Never thought much of Derek Jacobi's acting. He was even bad as the Master, but no one can place the bar as low as Simm.

  • one of my favorites, i wish to see one in a theater soon

  • Ophelia's voice alone really captures the emotion! I have uploaded a video of that same soliloquy, but could come nowhere near reaching the same emotion that this actress did! Loved this! :)
