Dear Rockstar,
Where you in any way inspired by Macbeth?
-
Based on the other comments (and watching this video a few times), here' my theory: the main character and Hannah were out doing something. They're probably sisters. Somehow Hannah died and the main character was blamed for her death. At first, she tries to believe that it wasn't her fault, but she eventually realizes that she killed Hannah.

Hmm, let me think... @teriinabox, I love your logic (but who is Hannah?). Also, @tmarkelj - that's what I was thinking, but I also had the idea that the green-lit scenes represent a permanent cell - the white-lit room is just a flashback - or perhaps the green-lit room is a premonition? I don't know. Thinking is indeed fun. (Wednesday nerd here - sorry other four but I had to comment before I exploded) <3

Lady Macbeth?

this idea should be made into a movie.

Creepy in a good, awesome, youtubin' way

You know, when I see this, I think of Lady Macbeth. The red stuff on the hands screams "OUT DAMNED SPOT!" to me.
But I love this video so much! It's very much of a psychological ride, and that's what makes it so interesting and thrilling. Great job, Raquel!

this is was fantastic!

im gunna not think abou this any more because it makes me scared . . . . you are far to pretty to be so scary.
Amazing. I would definitely like to see more videos like that.
My first idea is that these scene represents her subconscious, where she tries to hide the truth, which is haunting her and is having a conflict with herself (the camera representing introspection), The white walls and the dress is what she wants to believe, but the dark horrible truth is hiding behind that black door and is slowly getting to her (thus the hands).
Am I close?

@tmarkelj Very close!!! I loved how you mentioned the camera representing introspection. 10 points for you!

The first thought I had was Lady Macbeth too. I love this! It is so well put together, and the colour contrast is incredibly effective. Did you just conveniently have a white room with a black door handy?

@brendanlinwood I only discovered the location about two weeks ago! Isn't it perfect?!
