Contemporary belgian artist Wim Delvoye tattoos shaved pigs in Beijing, China. He decorates them with smiling faces, Louis Vuitton logos and various words. Art collectors can buy the pigs and pay for their upkeep or purchase their tattooed skins after the pigs pass away, paying up to a few thousand dollars.

As someone who's lived on the country side all her life, and attended farming school I have to say:

THE PIGS ARE FINE WITH THIS! Pigs have very weak hearts and are prone to cardiac arrests! if you do as much as yell to loud to a pig, it will start panicking and die from a heart attack. So if they could actually feel the pain, or were in any way frightened they would have died with the first ink stroke.

Also, pigs have a skin surface similar to ours, but is way thicker and less sensitive.

I eat bacon brother but see no reason to put a tattoo on the pigs back. If God meant for a pig to get tattoo's on their back they'd be able to put them on themselves.
