Freedom of speech implies absolute unfettered freedom to say anything you want on public and permissive private property. Revoking that freedom (at the point of a gun, via the state) simply because it "offends" you or you don't agree with it is tyrannical and is not a status of freedom at all, and no one who supports "freedom as long as you agree with me" has any business claiming to support freedom of speech.
having travelling overseas for half my lifetime, I would say that freedom of speech comes at a price and what I want to suggest is we should not impose our own values to others, unless it is morally right.
we are talking about the freedom of speech for speaking for our own right . not vulgarities which imply someone family 's upbring. If you travel often in other western countries , you know what is freedom of speech means otherwise you are still living in the ALice in wonderland country. You know what that means
dont even know what u mean "something to think abt". Here, we r talking abt freedom of speech to speak up against dictators, and there u r talking abt freedom of speech to use vulgarities. Want to carry balls, must oso use some brain. lol. pathetic!
what I noticed from the video ... are the children in the clip .... were they taught and brought up to allow them to say whatever they would like to say ... or were they brought up in a manner whereby there are rules and regulations to restrict them from saying what they would otherwise like to say? you know like ... vulgarity and stuff ... something to think about ... to the topic of "freedom"
