  • @WAIATA4U 31 went to CBS.

  • @the60sKid Those were added just a few years ago to look like the old ones. Since they have a newer Safeway close by, they should tear that one down and rebuild the theater!

  • Capt. Mitch was Captain Delta when I was a kid, doing cartoon intros on KOVR Channel 13 in Sacramento. I met him in the mid-1960's when he appeared at a Van's Market on Mission Avenue at Whitney Avenue.

  • @Lipenstein but is he still pickled?

  • Mitch Agruss is alive and well doing Dinner Theatre show productions and minor roles, in-house, at Garbou's and B Street theatres in Sacramento, CA.

  • Love the old promos

  • @the60sKid

That's nice. And I know lots of things -- like 2 & 2 are 4 and Carson City is the capital of Nevada...

  • no Shakespeare for this asshole..Cap'n mitch a crass old ass that never got what he wanted

  • Is Captain Mitch still alive and what's he's up to, anyone know?

  • Back in the early 80's, I lived in San Jose, and watched TV 40...All of a sudden, Speed Racer, Flipper, and Gentle Ben comes to mind.

Whatever happened to Channel 31? That channel had some good programming, too. Unfortunately, if you lived in San Jose as I had, 31 wasn't available.
