i dont think TRUE atheists believe in absolutes, only narrow minded ones. some really atheist people ive met dont answer questions because they have no answers, nothing can be proven. i cant prove God is real to anyone, through faith i know He is, but thats the best I can get, its impossible to explain that to someone who doesnt believe in faith or any of that. the best way to put it is "you cant prove your side I can prove mine, now lets solve all the crappy things in this world together"

So lack of belief is not a belief unless bald is a new hair color, and theists believe your either with there god or against god where as most Atheist WHO DO BELIEVE in naturalism realize life has shades of gray. Do you realize that the only necessary common factor of all atheists is not believing in a god? There is no necessary commonality on any other issue.

Why don't I believe in a god? Because I have never been exposed to any valid evidence support the claims of one existing.

Does a god exist? I don't know.

You are being biased. and there is not only science, there is philosophy which is much more spiritually enlightening then any religion can ever be. You shouldn't generalize things this way.

Science never deals in absolutes. Atheism never deals in absolutes.

Religion is the only one who deals in absolutes.

Religion asserts the claim that God is real, no buts.

Atheism does not assert any claims, rather atheism is a lack of belief in a deity. They do not claim that there is no deity, they have no belief in one.

If you are going to assert the claim that Atheism deals in absolutes you must provide a deductively valid argument, which you have not. You are a smart person? Please.

Science doesn't deal in absolutes. Ever. Even Richard Dawkins refuses to say he is 100% sure God doesn't exist. God does deal in absolutes: believe in Jesus or go to hell. God is a Sith.

Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, [etc]" (1st Corinthians 13: 4)

"For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you. Lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth." (Deuteronomy 6:15)

The bible says god is jealous. The bible says love is not jealous. Therefore god is not love and neither is it loving.

I would not torture my ex because she chose someone else. But, for god, this is somehow okay.
