Oh far be it from me if I should be left with the choice of!:
1. killing a man so that others may not be so bold as to mutilate another human being without fear of judgement;
2. or rather have that man's death on my conscience.
Fools are we if we think we do not fallow the same path as that of Sadducees/Pharisees. Let the "Law of God" be written on your hearts. in fellowship we will find the answer, NOT in bible verses's exchanges (though reading it, is warranted).

@ruderevival you believe in an after life but not incarnation , how did you get here then , your soul has to incarnte into your physical body to be speaking to me , the human body has no consciousness, killing does not destroy the soul killing releases the soul from the prison of the earthly body .
death is freedom , the earth is a hell compared to heaven , unless your evolved enough to bring heaven to earth in your soul
-
@ruderevival know this , no one can die without the concent of your higherself , in heaven , your soul chose to die at certain points in human history like ww2 and other wars so that it could learn from the expereinces.
god does not force your soul to incarnate, you choose yourself , becuase back in heaven you would not feel complete if you was unhealed. the suffering on earth serves to heal mankind not hurt him
-
@ruderevival some people are pacifists becuase they think others will have mercy on them , becuase they fear others,
they fear those who are more powerful , and so pacify themselves to protect themselves. be careful with that word evil , evil is a word given to a situation that you find hard to deal with , but god will never give you a challenge that your not ready for
-
@ruderevival make sure you really believe that your a pacifist for reasons of caring for others, and respecting them , and not because you fear danger and suffering .
i would be inclined to disagree with you if you say its becuase you want to respect others , becuase i know in human nature that no one does anything for anyone unless its forthemselves.

@AwsomWarrior Did I ever say I don'y believe in an afterlife? No. I do in fact. My pacifist beliefs are strongly based on my religious beliefs. I believe in Jesus Christ and follow his teaching. He taught to love your enemies, and not to resist evil through physical force. He taught to turn the other cheek, and to give to those who ask of you. He taught not to judge and to do unto others, how you would do unto yourself.
-
@AwsomWarrior I agree that the soul never dies, as Jesus said, "fear not those who can destroy the body, and not the soul." but i completely disagree that war brings the soul closer to God. I believe that killing ultimately destroys the soul. To go to war and kill many people personally unknown to you, I think, is one of the most terrible evils.
-
@AwsomWarrior I dont believe in incarnation. but i do believe that the soul is more important than the physical body and i respect all human souls, therefore i dont believe in doing harm to any human being.

@ruderevival pacifism is weakness, usualy taken up by those who are physicaly weak, by all means be peaceful and show kindness to others but remember any and every pewrson on this planate will try to take advantage of you at some stage even if verbaly , its human nature to over power
Only someone who knows he's wrong would reply so violently.
