It is pre-programmed. I have to have separate power going to the motors, unless I decouple the motors to remove the supposedly significantly-interfering noise from the line (at least that's the recommendation). But since i don't have capacitors to do the decoupling business, and since I don't have an additional battery pack, I get logic and servo power from a 1watt 7.5v power supply.
awesome! thanks for the idea! I was trying it at home, but the robot is rotating at the same place.. having no displacement at all.. cant figure it out.. :P
why is it plugged in? is it remotely controlled or is it just pre-programmed?
