Tip: Using a decanter will bring out the complexities in an older wine
Technique: A light source like a candle will help you detect sediment in a bottle

Cabernet Cocktail by Divya Gugnani

Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS:

3 oz. Cabernet Sauvignon
1 oz. orange liqueur
1/2 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Dash of bitters
Orange zest for garnish

PREPARATION:

1. Fill a sturdy wineglass with ice. Pour in the wine, orange liqueur, orange juice and simple syrup.

2. Top with the bitters, garnish with the twist of orange zest and serve.

  • Nice video.... some folks make this rocket science, most like you , show how simple this is. Open the bottle, pour slowly into a decantor. Let stand 45 minutes to bring out the best of the wine.. and drink it. Now that I am older, I can wait the 45 minutes. Younger... I just drank it outright. Good job lady.
